Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with the way Macs handle this, but if you know of any cleaning options for temporary data that might help to get to the bottom of this. that data shouldn't remain there permanently. And that has to be stored somewhere, the default location for that is usually on your system drive. See, my theory is that the system might still be using temporary data to install all that stuff. If it does try exiting Native Access (when it's done) to see what happens next. If you set everything up correctly then I'd suggest trying to install a few instruments individually (so one after another) and then check if your system drive also fills up. 1,5Gb, so definitely not something that can cause issues. When I check the size of my application folder (as shown above) it's size is approx. However, the VST's and applications will also gobble up some diskspace of course, but hardly as much. ![]() ![]() Created by top artists and sound designers, Expansions can be used in any DAW and work with a range of Native Instruments products, including MASSIVE, BATTERY 4, and MONARK. I marked the two locations that are most important here, those will make up for the 'bulk' of the data so to speak. KOMPLETE 12 ULTIMATE includes 20 Expansions genre-specific sound packs loaded with synth presets, drum kits, one-shots, samples, and loops. ![]() You already mentioned it yourself: the main things to look out for are the download & contents locations. I don't use Mac myself but Windows, however I also installed Komplete onto a second drive (my system drive is a 256Gb SSD, my second is a 4Tb harddisk) and never encountered such issues, despite having installed several terrabytes worth of audio data.
